What to create.....

Last weekend I finally found a moment to "relax"...bead shopping is very addictive so I had to stop myself from venturing into a bead store...

or contain myself from using coupons I found for Micheal's Craft Stores...(I can spend HOURS in one).

Sorry ... it's been a a while since my last post, work has been EXTREMELY busy and I haven't had ANY time to sit and do any crafting ... ordered a lot of beads and findings but no time to put them into action.  But I did want to share a couple of items that I was able to design and share.

This sweet and simple earrings are called "Little Princess" but are designed for any Princess of any age!  Pink and white seed beads carefully crafted in a circular design and are accented with white organza ribbons hanging from a silver ear hook.  Measuring 2" in length and would look great for a weekend date or for upcoming Valentines!

Detoxify Your Skin...

With the New Year comes New ideas, makeovers and resolutions...so why not start the new year off with re-newing your skin?

Did you know that loofahs help reduce the appearance of cellulite, improve blood circulation, and regenerate skin cell production.    You'll find that loofah sponges are either course or soft in texture.   You would use the course side to exfoliate body parts such as feet, knees and elbows whereas, the softer side is great for full body exfoliation.

They're also all natural so they leave behind no kind of residue for chemicals or environment buildups such as oil and dirt that can get deep into the pours as well as build up of dead skin cells. By exfoliating the hands on a daily bases with a loofah sponge and a shop soap not only will they remove the embedded grease and dirt but soften their hands which the ladies love.

Loofah sponges are great used with sea salts to remove dead skin cells and detoxify your skin.  Maintenance of your loofahs are fairly easy:  ensure to rinse out all soaps or salt residues and allow to air dry to prevent the growth of mold and prolong their life. If your shower stays in active use, remove your loofah after rinsing out from the shower and allow to dry where it will not be in constant contact with moisture.

Very Early Happy New Year to you all

Well I have a few moment to spare before I head out the door.   Mother nature decided to give us a blanket of snow versus a cozy one to "cuddle" up with in front of the TV...I ended up having to shoveling my driveway (something I hadn't done in YEARS since living up North some time ago).  OH how I forgot how much exertion body takes to shovel ... enter: warm menthol smelling (but natural) muscle cream...

But I before all that excitement, over the holiday weekend I was able to play catch up on some things:  cleaned out a couple of kitchen cupboards, straightened up one room (only to mess it up again looking for something), did a little studying and made a couple of new pieces and below I'm going to share a couple:

These I call Forrest Clusters...they're cluster of fresh water pearls woven tightly in a mixture of olive and gold tones.  I accentuated them with Jolee crystal black beads on a copper ear wire...they measure at least 1.5 inches.  These would look great with that favorite dress, sweater for a party or work!

Next, I created what I call them Classic Carrie...no relation to SATC Carrie =)

These beauties are made with fresh water pearls of two coordinating tones, separated with swarvoski spacers hanging from and antique copper ear wire (I'm starting to really line the different metal tones out there!).  These measure 1.5 inches giving you an elegant and classy look!

And lastly, is what I call Always Hopeful Pearl Bracelet...

Here I wove together tan fresh water pearls, spaced with silver beads and accentuated with beige tear drop pearl and a Hope Charm (upcycled from Stella & Dot).  It has a lobster claw closure measuring 8 inches so your wrist is free to breath and allows you to really show it off!

Ugh, I had to go into work today and it was very relaxing, no phones ringing - no disturbance - got what I needed to get done that I otherwise wouldn't be able to during a "normal" workday.  But before I commence to weekend cleaning, I wanted to take this little free time to list a couple of new additions to my shop....

This isn't "newly" added but I thought I'd highlight this cluster ring called Jubilee.  Mixed with Blue, Teal, Green faceted glass beads clustered on silver-plated ring, it's adjustable to fit ring sizes 5-8.  It's fun accessories to wear to accentuate your finger and match an outfits
